1. Loot tally for this week's episode (14 March 2009)
a. Light Crossbow (Dith)
This crossbow is small and compact, and otherwise unadorned, save for a simple floral design and a large patent H inscribed on the stock. It comes with a quiver of 12 small bolts, each one of unremarkable design, with a round, red bulb under the arrowhead.
b. Leather Armor +1 with thorny protrusions (Bob)
A common, well worn suit of leather armor bearing a mild protective enchantment. It has 3 wooden spikes sewn into the chest piece as decoration, though they also appear to be detachable.
c. 2 Jars of Sticky Unguent (Dith)
These jars contain a rapid hardening glue. They appear to be modified 'tanglefoot bag's designed for use by members of the Helvetican Merchant's Society.
d. 1 Jar of Honey Goo (Dith)
It not only tastes like honey, it also has the added property of being very nutritious. One serving of Honey Goo is sufficient to keep you from going hungry for a day. This Jar contains enough for two servings total.
e. 2 Unidentified Potion bottles (Dith)
These bottles are nondescript and carry a faint whiff of almonds.
f. Potion Bottle labeled 'Healing Potion' (Dith)
By all accounts, this tasteless, odorless liquid seems to be a healing potion of some sort.
g. A sum total of 37 gold pieces and 1 platinum piece (10 gold pieces) split amongst the party members.
2. Experience Awards (14 March 2009)
a. All party members gain enough XP (regardless of current total) to put them at 12,500 xp.
b. All party members attain Level 5, and are partway to Level 6.
3. Unclaimed Party Loot
The following pieces of party loot have not yet been claimed for use by party members. They may either be appraised, and later sold, or claimed before the next session.
a. Flanged mace with white horn handle. This weapon (1d8 damage) has a handle of white horn tapering in a sharp spike that is affixed to the mace head by a gold ring adorned with inscriptions in High Edessan. It seems to be weighted, strangely enough, for throwing.
4. Quest Items
The following are quest items in the common loot pool. They either serve as important pieces of information, or essential devices to further the plot.
a. Ancient Journal
A journal written in an unfamiliar tongue, alluding to the experiments of the island's past inhabitants on the creation of artificial life. It includes sketches of exotic plants, elven and human physiognomy, and machines, including a picture closely resembling the enigmatic green box that was the source of your debut adventure.
b. Researcher's Notes
A log written by Miles N. Miles, a scholar from the National Library of the Holy Empire of Garamond. It describes the research team's excavation of the tower ruins in the center of Yon Island, the discovery of the enigmatic green box, and Professor Birmingham's disappearance.
c. Clipboard with picture
A piece of card attached to a small clip. It is adorned with several holes of varying shape and size, a thin, metallic strip, and a curiously life-like portrait of a short haired gent with a moustache. Unfamiliar letters are placed in a square in the center of the card. It has demonstrated a curious ability to open doors in the dome-like structure on Yon Island.
