Eberron's Elementals need more paid holidays.

Just my luck, I was just minding my own business a few days ago, taking a walk and checking out the nice houses in Sharn when I almost hit by a flying guard! It seems like there was a jailbreak on the streets but a fragile thing like me would never think of being involved in that kind of risky business!

But being the nice, street-friendly Stab, I had to see if the guard was alright. Unfortunately, the guard was already dead when I reached him. Tearfully, I spoke a prayer while searching his pockets for any thing he might want to pass on to his family.

There was alot of noise and explosions but in the end, I was arrested with this brunch of misfits and was cursed by the guards. Such injustice in this world! D:

It was one hassle after other as I had to help the nun, the monk, the paladin (brunch of do-gooders) and a warlock (totally gay) into helping this noble find his missing silver statue in order to get rid of the 'curse of injustice'.

A clue that was found was that there was an orphanage in the slums that we have to scout out and these do-gooders had to pick me, the only person who cannot fight, to go alone! >_>

I used an 'alter self' spell loaned by the bitch nun to change myself into a bugbear and went off. At the orphanage, I sneaked in through the window and managed to find out that Victor (detective) was in cahoots with the escaped prisoners to kill the noble and as I was trying to search the building for the noble's daughter, I was discovered!!

Without wasting any time, I dived through the window amid crossbow shots from the crazy assholes and was followed by a murdering gargoyle! Diving for cover to escape the pursuer, I went into two bugbears' house and came out a half-orc using the alter-self spell.

The gargoyle actually went up to me and asked if I saw any bugbears! Being the honest man, I told him about the two bugbears in the house and walked away. Well, it wasn't really my fault the house was exploded and the two bugbears killed, right? O_O

Well, I managed to get back relatively unharmed but the crazy group wanted me to be the decoy for the noble the next day! I agreed for the greater good I would be doing. (and half of the warlock's loot and first pick of any weapons we find) *sigh* I'm so soft-hearted.

The next day at the train station, acting as the decoy, I was almost killed by the exploding trains while the rest of the group were chasing after the would-be murderers. I was shot at with an arrow and a message for the noble. Then the do-gooders had the 'bright' idea to fight the two large air elementals released by the explosions!

Well, the fight went badly but it was lucky that one of the elementals was released by a compulsion spell by the nun and the other one was already badly wounded. We triumphed at last and hopefully, we'll storm the orphanage with an army and finally finish this mission and get this curse removed! =_=

Of a tournament and a handsome Prince.

We are finally back in Fontia. The journey through space was quite uneventful on most counts.

And so, it was home sweet home. The first thing we did was to check up on hideout. When we last left, the place was to be rampaged. And it was. My study was ravaged and there was nothing much left of it, and our dear friend whom we forgot about was dead. Oh well.

It was to our astonishment to find that 15 years had passed in our absence. Many things have occurred, events that are not exactly to our favour. Our company has been labelled as rebels by the busty Lady Hermione (who survived the fall down our pothole), and we have been wanted for 15 years. Not to mention the horrible pictures they have of us on the Wanted posters! I'm pretty sure I don't look like
that!
To make matters worse, Lady Hermione, the cult leader of Ker'flab, is now Queen Regent of the Mostly Good city of Garamond, and our dear Lady Lucida has been ousted and treated as a madwoman locked in an asylum. We paid Lady Lucida a visit, and found out that the Prince and heir apparent of Garamond will be taking part in a tournament back in town, trying to become a member of the largely dubious Mostly Holy Knights. We were tasked to stop him from winning the tournament.

Sir Gingerbeer proved his usefulness henceforth by taking part in the tournament to defeat the Prince and to kick him out of the competition. It all turned out fine and dandy, even if Gingerbeer was having a tough time with a marksman in the preliminary rounds of the battle of arms. A Lady Ramen found out that we kidnapped a competitor to switch Gingerbeer in, and we had to convince her to join our cause against Lady Hermione and the cult of Ker'flab. So yes, a new partymember! Too bad she's a.. she.

Gingerbeer was up against the Prince in the second round of the competition. Gingerbeer managed to push the Prince near the stands where I was standing (and secretly casting spells while Lady Ramen caused a huge distraction with her seductive nature), and we managed to kick the Prince out of the competition, quite literally by teleporting us all away back to our ship.

Of space ships, and going home?!

Where I last left off, we were in the secluded area. A series of interesting events unfolded. Essentially there was this locked door that can only be unlocked if we collected ten medallions. I felt this strong calling from my Lord Seth from beyond the door, and thus, made my friends complete the puzzle for me.

It was quite the thrilling adventure with LaGrad finally coming out of the party's bag, big scary monsters, my friends leaving me to my death (which ultimately backfired, thank you very much), an everfalling pit (which took a bit of thinking), and a golden dragon.

Sir Gingerbeer insisted that the golden dragon was a good dragon, and disagreed when I suggested we just kill him for the medallion he was holding. After all, we survived a dragon before, how bad can it be? But of course, we ended up not attacking (since the tank refused to tank).

Which proved to be a wrong decision after all. The dragon turned out to be this evil thing (which isn't a bad thing) and was making use of us to go through the door and get to my Lord Seth. He froze me in time while my friends struggled to kill it. I think they eventually did, and I only found out about it after waking 4 days later.

Apparently the party uncovered a lot of loot from the dragon, of course. Where there's a dragon, there's loot! Whoo!
We had this portable buggy that runs on magic and we named it Happy Meal on Wheels. Sadly, Happy Meal on Wheels did not last long. We only managed to get a couple of rides out of that thing. I grew quite attached to it, really. It was quite a good ride even if it drains me fast.

Moving through the Vast Swamps yet again, we found an abandoned ship with wings. This turned out to be a space ship, that runs on magic, again. This ride exhausted me much faster than the previous one, I guess it's got to do with the size.

We activated it (with my help), and we took off into space! Away from this cursed land. Hurrah!

Venti the Druid explored the ship and found out its various controls. And so, with my planar knowledge, I navigated the ship towards home, Fontia, at last. I have not forgotten the God That Stacks Things On Other Things, and that it was after LaGrad's hide when we left. I wonder how he'll feel seeing that LaGrad's returned with two huge additional sacks.

Of swamps, and the World Serpent. And no more curse!

70 days.

I'm finally rid of the spider demon's curse. That's cause for celebration; to be honest the curse has been plaguing my mind for ages. To give my soul to the demon just for helping us with one dragon? I must've been pretty desperate then to agree to such terms.

Yes, at least my new master gives me power. Power unimaginable. All hail Sseth the World Serpent.

We encountered him in the clearing with the Serpent Rock in the Vast Swamps. It was quite the fateful encounter, let me elaborate more. My new imp slave (which I imprisoned after our company exposed its hoax) brought us to the clearing, by way of the contract it forged with me when I imprisoned it in the flask left over from the spider demon. Even though it was very against going there. But the druid (long-lost friend from Fontia, Venti!) insisted we check it out as it was something not of nature, and his druid instincts were aghast.

In the clearing was nonetheless a huge rock shaped like a serpent. There were strange scriptures on the serpent's body, which extends underground and into the water as we were told by Venti. He brought us into the water for me to inspect, since they were magical scriptures. They were the strangest scriptures, in Draconic and some language that I could not understand. But I think it has something to do with a ritual, detailing the creation of a new world, at the sacrifice of the caster. Alas, it was beyond my current magical abilities to comprehend.

These are the words of destruction that will create a new world.

So it said. Before I knew it, my consciousness was seized, and I was brought to another plane. There was a dark figure, and a slithery voice that told me to repeat some incantations to pledge my servitude to Sseth, in exchange for power and ridding me of any soulbound contracts. I repeated the incantations.

After falling out of my trance, I returned back to the clearing, feeling somewhat more intelligent. On my arm, in place of the previous tattoo from the curse was some scales. And my friends tell me my tongue is a strange blue and forked now.

Moving on to the ruins where we suspect the mayor to be, we found a couple of buildings that were still intact, one of which has a staircase leading below ground. Not before Gingerbeer insulted me. I tried out my new powers against him, without killing him. That should be enough to teach him a lesson. Underground, we found the dead bodies of the barbarian adventurers that we were told (by the guards at the outpost at the edge of the swamps) to have entered the swamps five days ago. They were pretty smashed up and bloody. We followed a trail of blood that came from this barbarian being pulled along the floor, and came to this secluded are. And here we are.
