1. Loot tally for this week's episode (07 March 2009)
a. Bark Crusted Shield, +1 (Bob)
This shield is crafted from a single piece of wood with bark-like extrusions and petrified leaves. Thorns sprout from the edges of this shield and jut at curious angles. It counts as a +1 magic weapon, and inflicts 1d6+1 damage (not including the wielder's strength bonus) when used by someone with the shield proficiency to bash an opponent. Making a shield bash attack counts as an armed melee attack. AC Bonus: +3
b. Scroll of Mage Armor (x1) (Dith)
c. Scroll of Knock (x1) (Dith)
d. Glowing Stone (The Dog)
This gem hovers around The Dog's head, shedding a pale, white luminescence in a 10-ft radius. Does it have some special significance or special power? Who can say? Certainly not The Dog.
e. Flanged mace with white horn handle (Party loot)
This weapon (1d8 damage) has a handle of white horn tapering in a sharp spike that is affixed to the mace head by a gold ring adorned with inscriptions in High Edessan. It seems to be weighted, strangely enough, for throwing.
f. Ring of Shocking (The Dog)
If you think The Dog's bark is worse than its bite, think again. This ring grants The Dog an additional +1d6 damage to its bite attack, and an additional +2d6 damage on a critical strike. Fear The Dog.
g. Ornate Gold Bracelets (Bracers of Armor +2) (The Dog)
The Dog seems to be lucking out with the loot today. These Bracelets have magically shrunk to fit The Dog's paws and have taken on a faint, green cast. Occasionally, The Dog can be seen to be surrounded in a circular field composed of interlocking green hexagonal plates.
h. Ring of Salakau (Dith)
A plain silver ring scribed with the words "Salakau" in the Batang Che dialect. This ring changes into a Wand of Magic Missiles with 37 charges upon utterance of the command word. Presumably, saying the command word a second time will change it back into a ring.
i. Stick of Incense (Bob)
A white incense stick with a red base that emits a very unusual banana smell.
j. A glass bead with a red stroke in the center (Party loot)
A glass bead with unknown properties. Whatever was it doing in the dead hippie's pocket?
k. A sum total of 177 gold pieces split amongst the party members.
2. Experience Awards (07 March 2009)
1. Joey and Orson - 1,000 xp + 1,500 xp + 1,000 xp
2. Bob and Dith - 1,500 xp + 1,000 xp
Orson and Bob have attained Level 4. Congratulations!
