ORLY! We're not in Altab anymore! :o

Adventure Summary

In today's adventure, our brave adventurers decided that they would clear their names by ambushing and capturing the Colonnan ambassador and his band of evil cultists while they were en route to Altab, and sped their way to the seaside village to set their plans in motion.

They scouted the outskirts of the village for a suitable ambush location, and chanced upon a hillock near a steep cliff with a cunningly concealed and magically trapped entrance that led deep into the earth. It was a perilous climb down a spiralling tunnel, and a dangerous flight through caverns filled with sharp nosed Piercers (Orson was enchanted with the Fly spell, and had to piggyback the others across). Their investigations eventually led them into an underground temple with walls made of pure gold.

After braving the perils of this weird temple of Ker'flab, fighting off their own shadows, and disabling the guardian golems of this strange and alien place, our adventurers eventually jumped into a portal and ended up in the Astral plane, and later, of all places, on a plane that was the topic of much popular fiction involving dark elves and scimitars and thousands of orcs!

What fate lies in store for our adventurers, now deemed aliens from outer space and lost on a different world?

A golden dish that fell off a chandelier in the Temple of Ker'flab. It has a strange sea creature resembling an octopus on a stick as a motif. LaGrad senses a presence in this dish.

2. Experience Awards (20 June 2009)

a. All parties involved are promoted to Level 9, including LaGrad, the evil leecher!

3. Item upgrades (20 June 2009)

a. Orson's weapon, the Manticore's Bite, has gained a new power. It has been revealed to be capable of Disrupting Constructs. On a successful hit, a Construct must roll a Fortitude save (DC 14), or be destroyed by the magic of the weapon. However, by gaining this power, Manticore's Bite has lost the ability to return to hand when thrown.
