Much has happened in the Fontian Adventuring Company's travels, but because the DM has been inordinately busy IRL, he has neglected to update this journal. Shame! :o
Still, the following is a short summary of what has happened thus far.
1. While exploring the swampy sunken temple, the adventurers overcame several obstacles and puzzle challenges, defeated a scheming psionic entity masquerading as a gold dragon, and ran away with his treasure!
This treasure included 11,000 gold, a portable hole, an animated tower shield +1, a mage-powered six-horse power buggy (pay in spell slots to move), a gnomish trapspringer (+5 detect traps), an automatic lock picker (+5 open locks), goggles of brilliance (Light Cone 30-ft at will, Searing Light 1/day), and a silvery gnome sized suit (+1 natural armor).
2. Subsequently, by following a map in the buggy, our adventurers discovered a well hidden gnomish craft that could fly and travel through the astral void. This... spelljammer was also the setting for a strange and convoluted mystery. Something mysterious had happened aboard. The entire gnomish crew was dead, there was an elf sandwiched between two racks in the armory, and the entire mutinous human crew had gone missing.
Still, it didn't stop our adventurers from rummaging through the stores, and generally activating the ship and blasting off into space.
Treasure aboard the ship: several silver suits (+1 natural armor), a suit of Empowered Golem Armor (+10 AC, +4 Str, +10-ft speed, -7 ACP, Jump (as spell) 3/day, Darkvision (as spell) at will, Status (as spell) at will, 2 scabbards (hold 3 weapons each)), half a dozen steel swords and bolt throwers (unoperational).
Everyone also got 3,000 xp for both sessions combined.
